This week wasn’t necessarily a banner week in savings for me. A few deals here and there. Stay tuned though because some weeks are really fantastic!
Walgreens – Total Price $43.22, Price after sales and coupons $17.86, Total Savings 58%
Walgreens had all Physician’s Formula makeup on sale for 40% off and a buy $10, get $10 rebate! I also had several $1/1 coupons. My numbers above do not include the $10 rebate which would bring my *after* price down to $7.86 and my total savings to 81%. They also had Mentos gum on sale 2/$2 and I had four $1/1 coupons – so I snagged four of them for free. I’m not much of a gum chewer but free is always a good price.
Publix – Total Price $74.97, Price after sales and coupons $35.83, Total Savings 47%
I’d have to say that my favorite kind of sales are Buy One Get One Free sales, especially when you have two coupons. Publix has great B1G1 sales every week and it is also my favorite place to shop for groceries! We picked up six boxes of cereal, some granola bars, Mott’s apple juice and some diapers. The diapers were not B1G1 but, because I registered for the Publix Baby Club, I was sent a $5 off coupon for Pampers!! Gotta love that! They also allow you to stack in-store coupons with manufacturer coupons.
CVS – Total Price $56.43, Price after sales, coupons and ecb’s $1.52, Total Savings 97%
Plus, I earned $10 in ecb’s (extra care bucks)
CVS has a fabulous program where you can earn money for buying certain items. If you have a coupon for these items, you can sometimes end up making money or at least getting a great deal on stuff you need. In order to tell you what I bought at CVS, I have to make a personal confession – I color my hair! Yes, you heard that right folks. I did it. I never thought I would have an issue with gray hair – I know lots of ladies who look absolutely beautiful with gray hair. But, once it made an appearance on my head, I felt a bit differently about it! So, I picked up four boxes of hair color on sale – I guess I’m set for a while. I hope my secret is safe with you! 
I also picked up three Tresemme 24 Hour Body hair care items because they were on sale 3/$10 and I had 3 $1/1 coupons and I earned $5 in ecb’s.

Stopping by after your dear mom pointed me in your direction! My mom is a couponing fiend…when she was laid up with surgery recently, she would call me with her couponing list…now that’s dedication LOL! Although I don’t coupon much anymore…I was very careful when my babies were growing up. (the oldest now 31…YIKES!) My mom is very good about sharing her bargains with me too!
