The Holy BibleRep. Paul Broun (R-GA) sure hopes so.  Rep. Broun has introduced what is being called “the Bible Bill”.  He wants 2010 to be the year when all Americans remember that the Bible is what the founding fathers used to create the religious freedoms we have in this country.

Paul BrounWhether you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, or any other religious affliiation, you have the freedom to speak your mind about your beliefs.  Of course, there is lots of backlash all around the internet about this piece of legislation.  From those against any form of religion who do not want this thing to pass to devout Christians worried that next year would be the Year of the Quran, everyone has an opinion.

So, what’s your opinion?  What do you think about it?  Should the Bible Bill pass or not?

By the way, did you know that Ronald Reagan was able to deem 1983 as the Year of the Bible?  Amazing!
