I just came across this meme the other week and thought it was wonderful! Sometimes, I get so focused on the kids and the house (and the blog) that I don’t always give my husband the attention he deserves. So, this will serve as at least a weekly reminder!
“My Husband Rocks!” Friday is hosted by The Great Adventure which is run by Katy Lin! After reading around on her blog a little bit, she seems like an awfully sweet girl who is truly motivated to love and honor her husband through thick and thin! I am very excited to participate with all the other blogging wives about how great our husbands are!
My husband rocks because he is a wonderful father.
As I write this, our third child is sitting on his lap having woken up screaming and crying. We aren’t exactly sure why he woke up, but Daddy just pulled him up on his lap and snuggled with him. It’s not that my husband was just sitting there waiting for something to do – he was in the middle researching something regarding the book he is reading. He gladly and without hesitation put down what he was interested in for his son. And, he really enjoyed the few moments of cuddle time.
My husband doesn’t just do things with and for the children because he has to or because he should – he does it because he really and truly WANTS to! There is no other place he would rather be than with his wife and kids!
While I was walking down the hallway to put our second child in bed, she said that she wanted Daddy to cuddle with her. They both absolutely love this time together! So, Daddy crawled into the bed with her and they talked and giggled and talked for quite a long time. (okay, my daughter giggled, and Daddy chuckled since men don’t giggle and my husband is a real man!!)
I am so thankful that my husband truly loves his children! He pays attention to them. He teaches them. He tickles them. He laughs with them. He takes them to church. He prays with them.
My husband rocks!

Those photos really are nice, I wish I had enough to put together a collage like that, but usually my husband or I are taking the pictures, so there are rarely ones with us together. LOL

What a sweet post about your husband! It seems like there is way too much complaining about husbands these days, so your post was refreshing.
